About The Foundation

We were founded in 2014, by a group of four former campers, with the goal of providing that wouldn’t otherwise be able to, the opportunity to experience the benefits and joy of sleepaway camp. Since then we have sent over ten campers to sleepaway camp and are quite proud that over 75% of our eligible campers have elected to return for at least one summer. We work with friends and third-party organizations to help identify promising potential scholars as it is very important to us that the kids have a positive experience at camp.  Once applicants apply for the scholarship, we do a phone or video call with the kids and guardians to talk through what a typical summer is like and address any questions/comments.  For those offered a scholarship, we then help you through the camp enrollment process which includes getting medical background forms in order, how to pack, transportation plans (which are the responsibility of the guardians).  Then it is all about experiencing the joy of being at sleepaway camp in the great outdoors!
